DailyUI Design Challenge #003 Landing Page
On my third challenge for the concept part of the project I´ll be reaching this
- The Seven Simple Principles of Conversion Centred Design (CCD) and How to Use Them from Interaction Design Foundation.
- Joel Gascoigne — How to successfully validate your idea with a Landing Page MVP.
- 10 landing page examples with awesome UX from JustInMind.
For inspiration and moodbar I will follow:
- Collect UI, Landing pages. They have greats compilations every month. Also at their site Collect UI.
- Launch Screens at Pttrns.
- 15 Landing Pages with Outstanding UX from WebDesignerDepot.
- 11 great landing page designs from CreativeBloq.
And finally for technical part, take a look at this:
So here is my moodboard, you can see online here (I´m making a moodboard out of every DailyUI Design Challenge).
I don´t know if I´ll have time enough, but I have some good ideas, these are:
- Make a Fullscreen video launch site
- Make something very clean, with lots of white space, clear message with engagement
- Make a Responsive Landing page in Sketch
- I´m thinking also in animating all these project in the future, so I may use Avataaars Sketch library.
Here goes my sketching:
- First, of course, is to continue working on my unicorn game.
- Second is a fullscreen video landing site.
- Third is photo card layout.
- Fourth is for beer.
The first design is for the Unicorn Game, could be a site or an App, who knows. I thinks of the stars moving slightly in the sky, a little unicorn coming to the scene, credits and action button.
Then I made some trials with the fullscreen video. First thinking on travel, Cíes islands are a national park in Galicia, Spain. The second is a time-lapse video of Times Square New York.
Actually I also made some research at Codepen, you can see a demo of my brother jumping into the water of these islands here (yeah, I´m missing the texts as I think I need the video in better resolution). Also that right demo fullscreen video site running here.
The third demo is some kind of Cards like layout grid. I was thinking on a photo gallery in example. Say there´s a platform for photographers called [*_*]Photox, I took some of my photos and displayed them as responsive (desktop, tablet, smartphone) in black and white versions. This a screenshot of the design:
Then I jumped into food, this is a pizza site. There´s an animation for the texts, I think I miss some more detail in the navigation menu (still don´t have it). This a redesign, the user has bought a wordpress template so I designed this according to the template.
Lastly, what is important: Beer! I found this post from Kaloian Toshev and liked the design. It´s a beer from Bulgaria, but I decided to change it to Czech republic. So I used Czech language for menu, texts, etc. The centre would be a hero showind different kind of beer with different text messages.
